Little Rock Crawl Space Moisture Control
Challenge
Little Rock homeowners were concerned about their crawl space. Due to a large slope, parts of the crawl space were staying very damp, and they weren't sure if we could help.
Solution
Our Design Specialist, Jack, inspected the crawl space and gave them some great news. We could help dry out their crawl space, encapsulate it, and make it so they could use it! Our team began by installing the SmartSump in the lowest point of the crawl space. They dug a trench along the highest section of the crawl space and installed Ez Flow Drainage System to collect water before it enters the crawl space and drain it into the SmartSump Sump Pump. The SmartSump pushes the water out of the crawl space, through IceGuard and out to the LawnScape Outlet. The LawnScape Outlet blends in with the lawn and allows water from the crawl space to drain, IceGuard is a patented drainage piece that allows water to escape should the drainage line between it and the LawnScape outlet become frozen or blocked. Inside the crawl space, the piers were wrapped with Wallie, and the vents were sealed with our SilverGlo Vents Seals to keep outside air from entering the crawl space. The Drainage Matting and CleanSpace Liner were installed to provide a thermal break and completely isolate the home from the earth. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier keeps the humidity in the crawl space below 55% while moving up to 300 cubic feet of dry air around the crawl space every minute.
This whole home is cleaner, drier, and healthier, thanks to CrawlSpace Solutions of Arkansas!
