Little Rock Crawl Space Repair
Challenge
This Little Rock homeowner decided he wanted his crawl space fully encapsulated. Jack went to meet with the homeowner and inspect their crawl space. Each crawl space is unique and has unique needs to be fully encapsulated.
Solution
Spencer and his installation team went to work, removing debris and grading the crawl space. This step helps to ensure the surface is relatively smooth for installation. The vents were sealed, and the walls were insulated with our SilverGlo Insulation Panels. The piers were wrapped with our Wallie, a 12-mil thick liner made for the porous surface of the concrete piers, preventing condensation from forming. The dimpled Drainage Matting was next, installed on the dirt floor of the crawl space providing a thermal break. The CleanSpace Liner was installed on top of the Drainage Matting and secured to the walls of the crawl space, isolating the home from the earth. The energy star rated SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed to keep humidity below 60%, keeping mold and rot out of the crawl space. Outside the home, the discharge line for the dehumidifier was installed to drain the water out and away from the home, through the LawnScape Outlet. The LawnScape Outlet blends beautifully into the lawn and is easy to clean.
