A vapor barrier had been installed when the home was built, but over time it had bunched and torn, allowing moisture to enter the crawl space from the ground. The open vents were allowing outside air in the crawl space, creating a more humid environment.

Solution

John T. recommended a CleanSpace Encapsulation System to dry out the crawl space and the home. Bryan and his team installed SilverGlo Insulation Panels to insulate the walls of the crawl space, and wrapped the piers with Wallie to prevent condensation from entering the crawl space through the porous concrete.
