Challenge

This homeowner requested our service to come and clean out their crawl space area and had previously had an encapsulation done but wanted us to tear out the old encapsulation materials and start fresh. That is exactly what our crew got to work on for the homeowner. 

Solution

They began by removing and disposing of all the old, nasty insulation and excess debris that was in the space. The crew then installed the SmartSump Sump Pump in the lowest point of the crawl space and ran a discharge line from the SmartSump to outside and away from the home. The old, batted insulation was replaced with our SilverGlo Insulation Panels, and they laid our Drainage Matting on the graded surface of the crawl space and topped it with our 20-mil thick CleanSpace Liner to isolate the home from the earth. The crew then installed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to keep the relative humidity at or below 55% to prevent mold and rot.
