Crawl Space Moisture Control in Bryant
Challenge
The homeowners knew there was a lot of humidity in their crawl space, they wanted to eliminate the humidity and make their crawl space cleaner.
Solution
Our Design Specialist, Michael, presented them with a CleanSpace Encapsulation System that solved their crawl space problems!
Our crews graded and prepped the crawl space, eliminating areas where ground water could pool and puddle. The crawl space was insulated with SilverGlo Insulation Panels, preventing humid outside air from entering the crawl space. The block piers were wrapped with Wallie, a 12-mil thick liner to prevent moisture from entering the crawl space through porous masonry. Our dimpled Drainage Matting was installed to provide a thermal break and cushion the ground. Our CleanSpace Liner was carefully measured and installed to isolate the home from the earth permanently and completely. Finally, the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was brought in. This powerhouse is energy star rated and can move dry air around the crawl space at a rate of 300 cubic feet per minute.
