CleanSpace Encapsulation in Lake Village, AR
Challenge
These homeowners called on the recommendation of their engineer. They had recently had to gut their entire 60-year-old home, and they believed it was all due to a very humid crawl space. Our System Design Specialist, Jack, knew they would need a full encapsulation system to correct the humidity issues.
Solution
Zach and his crew began by installing Drainage Matting, which is great for crawl space drainage under our CleanSpace liner on concrete or dirt floors. The CleanSpace liner is used to isolate the home from the earth completely. This dramatically reduces the humidity levels in the air, which when combined with sealing outside air and dehumidification, will eliminate mold growth and rot from the crawl space. Next, we sealed off any open vents with vent covers to prevent humid air from getting back into the space. Finally, the crew installed two of our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifiers to ensure that the humidity stays within our ideal range.
