Challenge

This client called in stating that they had moisture issues in their crawl space, which they thought was related to their floors beginning to creak. They knew they needed an expert opinion, so they called Crawl Space Solutions of Arkansas. 

Solution

Jordan and his crew began by cleaning the space and removing all the old insulation and debris. Then they began installing drainage matting, which is great for crawl space drainage under our thick, 20-mil CleanSpace liner on concrete or dirt floors. The CleanSpace liner is used to isolate the home from the earth completely. This dramatically reduces the humidity levels in the air, which when combined with sealing outside air and dehumidification, will eliminate mold growth and rot from the crawl space. Next, we sealed off any open vents with vent covers and installed an airtight  EverLast crawl space door. Finally, the crew installed a SaniDry dehumidifier to keep the entire space at or below 55% relative humidity. 

This client no longer has to worry about moisture in the space and have a much drier, healthier home!
