Solution
A basement or crawl space that constantly contends with damp, wet, moist conditions can have many negative effects on your home, robbing it of its comfort and value. It can also cause mild to serious health conditions to adults and children who suffer from allergies, breathing difficulties, or asthma.
To solve Elizabeth's problems, we installed the following products: WaterGuard, Smart Sump, and Ultra Sump.
Our WaterGuard- is a subfloor perimeter drainage system for basements and other subterranean structures. WaterGuard is a custom-designed PVC extrusion which is installed below the surface of the basement floor and on top of the footing. The WaterGuard then channels water seepage from the foundation walls, the footing wall join, and black wall cavities to the sump pump. WaterGuard can be used to control water in wet basement situations with less disruption and disturbance of the basement floor, footing, and subsoil. Furthermore, the conduit will not clog from the infiltration of fines and silt from surrounding soils.
Our SmartSump and Ultra Sump- Part of keeping your crawl space dry involves a sump pump. The state of the art SmartSump is designed just for crawl spaces. The liner and lid are designed to form a tight seal around the CleanSpace Liner. The SmartSUmp is a combination of patented and custom components that make up a highly efficient and reliable water evacuation system for crawl space environments. The optional UltraSump battery backup pumping system has a second pump in case of primary pump failure, the second switch in case of a switch failure, and a second power source in case of power failure. The Ultra Sump can pump out over 12,000 gallons of water out with the energy in the special 120 amp sealed powerpack. A charger keeps it charged when the power is on, and an alarm will tell you when the UltraSump is operating. The UltraSump is optional but highly recommended.
