Challenge

The customer has had some work done in the last year: joist repair, insulation removal, mold spray, and vapor barrier in her crawl space. She is still showing signs of moisture and mold and needs some pier work done

Solution

Encapsulation is the procedure of separating the area below your house from your living area. It involves sealing all outside vents, installing a high-performance vapor retarder on all exposed wall and floor surfaces, insulating the walls and rim joist, and conditioning the air.
