Mold in Crawlspace, Bee Branch, AR

Challenge

This homeowner John B. was interested in a crawl space encapsulation and thought there could be some mold growing under the home. The system design specialist inspected under the home to find mold growing in many different areas.

Solution

When the crew arrived to begin production, they started by first treating the mold with Mold- X2.  Mold -x2 provides an effective tool for the cleaning and treatment of mold-contaminated building surfaces.  Mold-x sprayed on surfaces as a one stage process. Mold-X neutralizer has proven to be one of the most effective and least expensive treatments of its kind on the market today, providing an intelligent, proactive answer at a fraction of building , material replacement costs. Mold-x can be used to neutralize mold on surfaces including basement or crawl space walls, floor joists, subfloors, etc. While Mold-x will neutralize mold at the time of application, it will not remove the neutralized mold which may still be visible. 

After the mold was treated, we started the next step which was to grade the floor, so we could install or Drainage Matting. Our drainage matting has a unique design that has dimples that allows water to flow directly to the drainage or sump pump. The drainage matting is placed underneath our CleanSpace liner which adds more durability to the CleanSpace. The CleanSpace liner is designed to completely and permanently isolate the ground from the earth, reducing the humidity levels in the air.

Doing these three things, this homeowner now has a mold-free crawl space!
