CleanSpace Liner in Pine Bluff, AR
Challenge
John R. from Pine Bluff, AR wanted to prepare his crawl space for the winter months. John called Crawl Space Solutions of Arkansas, John needed a solution that would help control the airflow and moisture levels in his crawl space. System Design Specialist Jack came out to John's home to review the information, and gathered the dimensions of his crawl space, for any installation, as well as identify any additional concerns.
Solution
The best solution for John was to install a complete crawl space encapsulation system, complete with the CleanSpace vapor barrier, a drainage matting, and coverings for the crawl space vents.
The foreman and his team came out to perform the installations. The process began with the closing of the crawl space vent-holes with vent covers, to restrict airflow. A drainage matting was laid over the dirt floor. The drainage matting has dimples in the bottom of it to encourage the airflow underneath the floor, so moisture can be properly drained away.
The CleanSpace vapor barrier was added to the crawl space, where the team formed the barrier around obstacles, fastening the barrier to the walls and obstacles, restricting airflow behind the barrier, and ensuring the barrier would not fall off the walls and remain attached to every surface.
