Moisture in Crawl Space, Austin. AR
Challenge
Jeff S. saw one of our trucks while driving and decided to give us a call to get a free inspection of his crawl space. Luckily he did, because what we discovered was that he had high levels of moisture and mold was beginning to grow!
Solution
When our System Design Specialist arrived to do his free inspection, Jeff was surprised when he explained how Jeff has high levels of moisture, and mold beginning to grow. Mold spores, the seeds of mold, are in the air everywhere. All they need to grow is organic materials such as wood, the right temperature range, and moisture. Spores can be dormant for many years, waiting for the right conditions to grow. Some molds produce mycotoxins, such as the black mold Stachybotrys. Our design specialist, of course knows this and determined that we needed to install our CleanSpace Encapsulation and our Everlast door. These two products greatly improve the quality of air that is circulating throughout the house!!
