Solution
Having water flood your basement or crawl space is never an ideal situation, anytime that happens you need to act quickly to get the water out, dry the area, and prevent it from happening again. Water in your dirt crawl space can cause mold, bacteria, and attract a lot of insects and critters. The first thing we did for Jeffery was to dry all the water, however that doesn't solve the future problems from occurring. In order to prevent future water damages, we installed our SmartSump sump pump system. We also installed our IceGuard system, which allows water to escape from a sump pump discharge line if the pipe freezes or becomes blocked for any reason.
