Solution

For this homeowner, we installed our SmartJack crawl space stabilizer. The SmartJack is a supplemental support system for crawl space applications. The SmartJack effectively supports sagging beams and floor joist caused by length of span being greater than spanning capability of the members, floor load added after construction, exceeding design values, and the weakening of members over time due to high moisture and rot.

The SmartJack may also be used as supplemental column support where an existing column and pier foundation has settled.
